[directmusic] Easiest way to play a Motif from a script?

Can somebody please refresh my memory here.... What is the easiest way to
play a motif from a script?
 
Sub playmotif
            NameOfMotif.play
End sub
 
Doesn't seem to work.
 
I used to know this... 
 
Can somebody help?
