Hey Kin,

I think this is a very nice step. I have only a few suggestions.

- In the last paragraph, I would put (2) ahead of (1) in the listing,
since architectures are the focus.

- Also in the last paragraph, I think mentioning UAVs so explicitly is too
specific. I would use something like "mobile resources" or "mobile
assets" with some examples (e.g., UAVs, robots, troops, etc.).

- As I'm seeing in a lot of the writeups, what the innovation is is not
well specified. This is somewhat inherent in such a broad concept as
architectures. Is our "innovation" that we are going to explore,
evaluate, and determine the proper architectures for SDC?

-Erich

Dear Erich and colleagues:

Per your suggestion, I have just finished the first draft on SDC
architectures in the attached. As said, I have not done research on SDN
architectures… So, I am not sure if I make sense or if I miss something
important there. As usual, your comments and suggestions are welcome.

Dear Richard, I am sending this to everyone instead of iterating between
us individually because we are running out of time soon and I would like
to solicit comments from all colleagues as quickly as possible. However,
your comments and ideas are particularly appreciated.

I am copying this to our colleagues (Chris Dearlove and Alan Cullen) at
BAE as their ideas about security may be relevant to the third-party
enclaves in the SDC architectures. Their feedback and suggestions are also
welcome.

Thanks.

Regards,

- Kin

Hey all,

One thing to realize is we have 4 pages for the technical component. Given
our four innovations, that means roughly 1 page per innovation. References
don't count and can be placed at the end.

The template is Times 10 point, so I suggest you work in that font to keep
an eye on space.

Hi Ting, Richard, Don, and others,

Following our discussion during the last telecon and over email, I added
some text to Ting's writeup with track changes on.

I added some material on controlled mobility and fundamental limits. For
the latter, I tried to address the heterogeneity concern raised by ARL in
their review when talking about percolation theory. We may need to iterate
on this text.

Unfortunately, I will have to miss tomorrow's meeting due to a conflict,
so please email me if any text needs updating / harmonization with the
final writeup.

thanks,
-Prithwish
