We do already have the DialogJIG discussion database, kindly created by Brett, though this doesn't help those who are on-site. Unfortunately, we still have no capability for hosting Quickplaces to the outside world, and I gather the issues around this aren't trivial. If nothing else, we can use this mailing list for conversations, on- or off-topic; granted we could end up with rather a lot of mail, but then that's what mail rules are for :) Janet_Rogers@dialog. com.au To: dialogjig@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent by: cc: dialogjig-bounce@fre Subject: [DialogJIG] Re: To meet or not to meet elists.org 08/11/2001 02:36 PM Please respond to dialogjig On thinking about it, I guess there are 2 problems with lunch time.... 1) It cuts out people who are off site (which we all already know) 2) It limits the amount of material we can cover - we would have to divide each chapter into bits. I wonder if it would help both these problems if we set up a Quickplace/Team Room, and had some structure about it - putting in slides, homework, examples, discussions etc, so that we could continue to work with the group, even if we are off site. ========================= Dialog JIG!
