I am not able to teach some topics but I am interested to participate to
the courses (especially if it's basics!). For the moment you have not seen
me because I am often on travel... But I will be free since the middle
of September.

despite the severe lack of participation, I have not yet (!) given up on
the club.
Some of the top topics from the last member's survey was "classes and
lectures".
I have tried to recruit some volunteers to teach some of the topics, that
was not such a great success.
So, here is the deal: I will try to arrange for a course, even if I got to
do all the preparation/presenting myself, under the condition that
participation makes worth the effort.
The course intends to cover topics from basic point&shoot techniques to
mastering large format, on the way touching topics like metering properly,
using flash, light modifiers, etc. The classes should build on one another.
Please let me know if such an activity is desired.
Also, please let me know if you would like to contribute with a specialty
topic.
