But where do you get a program to convert the midi track to rttl?

Thanks in advance.

Subject: [dectalk] dec talk, tracks from midi files

Hi everyone!
the newest member of our list,
electrozoom@xxxxxxx
has a sort of different way of making DECtalk songs.
This is done in several steps.
1. find a midi .mid file of a song you'd like dt to sing.
2. get a program off of the internet to convert it to rttl, the language
used by celular phones to make ring-tones. then convert it.
3. use a replace program to convert the rttl into dectalk phonemes, using
laa as the default).
4. replace the laa's with actual words.
if you want a demonstration, I started working in the song one moment in
time, sung by whitny hewstan.
there are, as you will here, errors and timing issues, all be it minour
ones.
I've started wording it all, only done the first verce and a part of the
chorus as of now, though!
i'll paste my code below, then you can see for yourself.
