Ward 7! We're on the map - again. This time, at the Smithsonian Museum of
Natural History <https://naturalhistory.si.edu/exhibits/our-places>.
Opening TODAY, "Our Places: Connecting People and Nature," features the
soundbites and images of Ward 7 residents, spotlights Kenilworth Aquatic
Gardens located in northeast DC, in addition to the Friends of Kenilworth
Aquatic Gardens, the nonprofit philanthropic partner of our neighborhood
national park.
Visit the exhibit to learn about regional and personal stories that deepen
our understanding of humans’ role in nature, and learn about green spaces
that inspire - whether in the forest, city, park or our backyards. This
first-of-its kind exhibition runs through 2024 and will expand with
storytelling, community conversations and workshops featuring Friends of
Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens. that are perfect for your family, your school
or just you!
