*It is again that season of giving and thanks, although we should all be
thankful every day for the gifts and blessings given to us from our
creator. I know that I am. I hope you are too.*
*As we celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving with family, friends and
loved ones, let us also lift up National Native American Heritage Day as
well, celebrating the indigenous peoples of America.*
*I have two event announcements:*
*1. Come celebrate with the Anacostia Coordinating Council in their 10th
Annual Multicultural Holiday Celebration and Youth Gift Drive (SEE FLYER
attached). It's Free! The event is Monday, November 28th from 6:00pm -
9:00pm AT the BLACK BOX THEATER @ THE ARC, 1901 Mississippi Ave SE. Guests
are requested to bring UNWRAPPED Toy gifts for children 5 to 12 years of
