D.C. Democratic State Committee Announcement
The Ward 7 Democrats are currently looking for Ward 7 residents who are
interested in serving on the D.C. Democratic State Committee. Every four
years, an election to select two Committeemen and two Committeewomen are
held as a part of the Democratic Primary. The four elected representatives
will play an instrumental role in advocating for pressing issues (like
Statehood, Redistricting, Ranked Choice Voting, etc.) and support the
implementation of various policies to uphold our Democratic values. The
election will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022.

In early March, a Review Committee will be appointed from the
organization's Executive Board to recommend a slate for endorsement. If you
are interested in be considered, please email us <info@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> a
30-60 second video outlining who you are and why you are running by April
1, 2022. See below some helpful hints as you consider your candidacy!
- Must be a registered Democrat and 18 years of age or older.
- Must complete several forms, a petition and make an appointment with
the D.C. Board of Elections
