Do you have sound forge? Check to make sure that the key of the loop itself has been set to the correct key. D!J!X! -----Original Message----- From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Shawn Brock Sent: Thursday, October 21, 2010 4:36 PM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] trouble with sonar and acid clips I bought an acidized string library from Big Fish Audio. It had some hooks I was needing for a tune. So I plunked down $100 and downloaded the set. And what do ya know? Surprise surprise, I import the clips I was needing into Sonar and the key is screwed up... Lovely... Every frigging clip is importing in the key of C! I'm using either sonar 4 or sonar 7. Can anyone recommend anything here! I must be old school or something. I'm used to being able to change the tempo of acid clips, but not having to mess with the key like this. And yes, I have tried inserting a key change. All I know to do is to import into gold wave or something and export again. The clips play back in the appropriate key when you listen to them in winamp or other players. And no, I don't have soundforge. Help please! This is starting to get to me...
