lots of the syuperior stuff was smapled in new york studios using great drums and great mics.

Hi Len,

A quick play with the snare,

1: When Superior is loaded, press  Shift plus F4 to put you on step record,

2: press the T key to set step record to 32,.

3: hit the snare key 32 times, this will give you a duration of one note, ,

4: press Control plus F4 to come out of Step Record,

5: press alt plus the number 4 to put you in event edit,
6 go to the Velocity column, press enter and type 107 then press enter again and arrow down to the next velocity number and press enter then type 87, and so on.

Try this sequence of velocities, Very basic kind of roll.
107, 87, 87, 67, 77, 57, 67, 47,
57, 37, 47, 27, 47, 27, 47, 27,
47, 57, 67, 77, 87, 97, 107, 127   ,

that sounds good. i'm not that good with programming yet so a little push in the right direction would be welcome. can you maybe point me to a good resource site for midi programming where i could find good tips and maybe tutorials?
