[ddots-l] step sequencer

i'm still having trouble with step sequencer. i tried the pass key through
command but it doesn't have any effect. i press enter on the check boxes and
jaws says enter but nothing happens the boxes doesn't get checked. also the
keys for the different note durations doesn't work. could it be a 64 bit
thing? i'd really like to get this going.
