ok Gord thanks, I got it straight.
How am I going to do the same thing for Winamp. Or let me ask this way, do I
need to do these sound settings in the software it self that I want to hear the
sound out of M-audio or is there a way to do it perhaps in the control panel?
like telling Windows which application is going to use witch sound card.

Thanks

No, it won't. You change the device you are using in the speakers tab of
the option dialog. It is a lot better and more straightforward in media player
10 than 9. In the speakers tab, there should be a devices list.

    Hi all,

I have 2 sound cards. 1 for sonar and 1 for Jaws.
Sonar uses m-audio 1010lt, but all the other sounds are coming out of the
one for Jaws.
I like to be able to hear windows media player an winemp from the M-audio
as well. Is it possible, if so how?
If I get it work that way would it interfere with sonar and give me
problems?

    Thanks
    Caglar
