Actually, just had a better idea. Get one of those sonarjaws.dll files and unregister it. If you
do that then, it won't show up as a control surface.
How do you register and unregister .dll files? By doing the following. First of all we will create
a shortcut that will enable us tu register .dll files. We will then create a shortcut that will
enable us tu unregister .dll files. after creating the shortcuts, I shall explain, how to place
the created shortcuts in the "sendTo menu. That way, we will for example, be able to find a .dll
file then, choose the registering .dll shortcut from the "send to menu" and register it. Here's
how it's done:
1, go to your C drive and from the file menu, choose "create shortcut." Call the shortcut
"Registering .dll's.
2, press Alt and the enter key on the Registering.dll's shortcut, in order to get to the properties.
3, now paste the following:
%windir%\system32\REGSVR32.exe
and go to the apply or, ok button.
We will now create a second shortcut called "unregistering .dll's."
To do this, do the following:
3, now paste the following:
%windir%\system32\REGSVR32.exe /u
and go to the apply or, ok button. That's it.

Hmm, interesting. Have you tried emptying your recycle bin? Do you want to get rid of the sonarjaws.dll file all together?

Ok, thats way too logical Phil.
So explain this, because I'm just too thick.
I have 3 sonarjaws.dll files on my hard drive, count them 1 2 3...
They're in, Jaws 5.1, Jaws 7.0 and Jaws 7.1 respectively.
Ok I delete these, no Sonarjaws.dll to be found except in recycle bin. That's ok because this is what we want.
Load up Sonar, not only did it say that the Sonar control surface is loaded, it is also listed in the control surface dialog box under the options menu. and, also listed if you try to add an additional control surface.
My conclusion:
Either there is something that I'm missing here (which is most likely), or it's not named sonarjaws.dll.

Anyone know the actual file name of the Sonar Jaws control surface? I know that it is a .dll file.
