Did you try unselecting everything before exporting the tracks? Make sure
there's nothing selected in terms of tracks or from/through times.

Subject: [ddots-l] sonar 8 cutting off tail end of audio during track bounce
and export etc

Hi everyone. I'm trying to figure this out. It's really f$cking annoying.

I have a few projects in which I am only using soft synths. They have these
wonderful pads and other decaying sounds at the end which slowly decay into
silence. Very smooth and neat which is exactly what I want.

Everything sounds fine on playback in my sonar session files. However, when
I select all and export the entire mix, or if I select all and do a bounce
to a stereo track, it cuts the last 2 or 3 seconds of the audio off! this
is very frustrating.

I tried recording on one of the tracks until after the last sound decayed
away, then just put a controller event in. thinking this would make it run
until it reached that event. But nope, it made no difference!

I need to get these tracks out the door and they can't go out with their
tails chopped off. any suggestions?

Something I'm missing? Or A work around perhaps?

I just don't see why it would cut off, when everything is selected. Surely
it should know when the last note of the last soft synth is done playing,
being that that audio is going through sonar. but even if it is going by
the last midi event in the project, then the last event I inserted should
make it complete the bounce or export without cutting the last bit off.

Thanks in advance,

Cameron.
