Hello John:
You'll definitely want to upgrade to Cakewalk 5.2. If your already on
CakeWalk 5.0, it's a free patch. It's available at the cakeWalk website.
And, if you didn't receive the 5.2.8 CakeTalking software for your
caketalking version 5, it's most likely a free upgrade. The CakeTalking 5.2
seems much more stable and responsive.
Also, when upgrading Cakewalk, make sure to 1> Use the correct version
(Studio or Producer) and 2> Upgrade in order. In other words, first
CakeWalk 5, then 5.1, then 5.2. Finally, install the CakeTalking 5.2.8
scripts. You absolutely will need all of your serial numbers CakeWalk and
CakeTalking.
