Point well taken, John. I do take great care in testing out the tracks before I
go out there and use them. Yes it's a lot of work putting this stuff together,
but even building midi sequences takes time as well. I always have the original
project so I can edit things as needed and remix the tracks.

Another great thing with this format is that if I want to record backing vocals
and other things that can't be done with midi, I can do it and incorporate it
into the tracks. As you say, there are advantages and disadvantages with each
format; I guess it's whatever works well for your situation.

Hi: The advantage to midi, if you consider it an advantage, is that you can
edit it if you find that certain parts are too loud etc. Once you do an MP3,
it's done. Of course, some people here use them and it's probably the best way
to go. But midi is easier to change once you've heard it on stage. John
