Sorry. I am right. You can choose track and bus automation and cut it out
of a specified area. Unfortunately, if there's any track or bus automation
that you want to keep in that area, it will be removed as well. You don't
have access to specific automation snapshots in the bus pane because there's
no event list view for the bus pane.
So, once you close the project, you're screwed.

Hi Darren,

I'm aware that bus tracks are for routing, but the snapshots must surely be
putting events on the specified bus channel?
I just can't seem to workout how to isolate the snapshot events on the bus
channels.

I'm controlling the speed of the fade by setting the track at lest say 12
bars 3 beats and 240 ticks and then taking a snapshot of the level and then
moving forward another 16th by setting the track at 12 bars 3 beats 480
ticks lowering the level slightly and taking another snap shot and so on.
This gives a nice level control of the All Instruments bus.

I end up with the music on the All Instruments Bus fading in and out,
complementing the Voice Over bus.
I know this can be done with compressors, however, I'm fading down before
the voice starts, giving a more subtle change.

My problem is, when I'm tired I occasionally miss calculate the fade. I
would like the be able to go back to it the next day and make changes.

I Hope that Kevin isn't right when he says I'm screwed?

Hi Steve.

I might be wrong, but I don't think so as the bus tracks don't actually have
anything recorded on them. Or at least that's what logic would tell me.

Cheers
Darren

Hi Luis,

Thank you for helping me, could you help with one more question, am I able
to select the from and thru on a bus track as when I press Control Enter,
Jaws doesn't say "Selected."

to delete the automation just select the appropiate tracks and set the from
and thru for that early part so the shape events are in the middle of the 2
pointers and press alt x . from the cut dialog be sure to uncheck events and
do check automation.

Subject: [ddots-l] snapshot

Hi all,

I've been using snapshots to ride the levels on my Instrument Bus whilst a
voice over bus stays at one level.
I dip the level to early on one part of the track and can't find how to
delete these snapshots.

Please can anyone help?

Thanks in advance
