hayley, i could not think of a reason the cake walk verb would not work for you. i use it quite offten. i have a preference for the waves stuf but still use the cake walk some times. are you just having this problem with that affect, or with all cake walk affects? the perametor you will change the most is the last one on the list. right before the globel bypass. i cant think of what is called right now. but it defaults at 5.0. and it sounds better at about 0.10. try this and let me know if you have any luck. You might want to consider using the lexion pantheon reverb and inserting it into a bus, rather than directly onto a track. Gord ----- Original Message ----- From: Hayley To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, December 30, 2005 4:33 AM Subject: [ddots-l] selecting effects Hi Everyone, I want to use the reverb in "cakewalk" on a project but i don't want any of the presets. Can anyone tell me how i can alter the effect manually? I've tried using the curser keys but they don't change anything and i just keep hearing JAWS reading different values, i tried typing in different numbers, but that doesn't seem to change anything iether - the presets are just too much reverb! Hope someone can help. A happy new year to all of you. Hayley
