[ddots-l] script writing

Hi all. I want to learn how to write scripts. I know this is a little off
topic but the main objective is to script celemony melodyne. I want to know
where i could find detailed instructions or manuals on how to write scripts.
I already have the basics of scripting manual from freedom scientific. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
