Bolo, I'm wondering if your system is just now being worked to its limit. You say you have recently began using TTS and some audio. It's possible that in the past you were running at close to your processor and memory limits, and now that you are beginning to add more versatility you are past what your computer can handle? Did you tell us your RAM memory size, your operating system, your hard drive remaining space, your processor speed? One or more of these may be the root of your problems. It's started to happen like in the past several months. I was mostly using the tts and some external synths. But since I started to use more virtual instruments that came with the bundle of sonar 8.5 I notice the runtime error messages started to appear. Especially when I'm recording acoustic sounds. I have not added any other outside plug ins to my computer. I have been considering to reinstall sonar 8.5 again on the computer, to see if would solve my problem. bolo From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of D!J!X! When do you first remember this happening? Had you installed anything or updated anything around that time? If so, what? As far as the computer crashing I'm not to sure. But sonar shkuts down and generates an error message or the run time message, And jaws stops talking and the computer freezes. No, I'm not connected to the internet. I would want to believe I do have all the updates. I think????? This could be related to a plug-in or a runtime library. Hard to say though. Is your system connected to the net? Do you have latest updates? The latest drivers for your interface and peripherals? Just some ideas. Hi, I apologize, but I am not too technical in computer, meaning that I don't know all the specs on my computer, but it is one of the creation station with xp as an operating system. I have not added any plug in other than the ones that came with the bundle for sonar 8.5. The run time error happens at any given time. And if I don't save before it happens I lose all the work that I've done up to that point! That is as much that I know. bolo From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Bryan Smart Sent: Tuesday, January 24, 2012 1:00 PM To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] Re: run time error! This is probably caused by one of the plug-ins that you're using. If any of the plug-ins that are loaded as part of your project crash, they take all of Sonar with them. When does it happen? Have you just added a synth or effect to a project? Have you just opened a project? Bryan On Jan 24, 2012, at 11:30 AM, Sergio Felicano wrote: Hi everyone, I am having an issue with sonar 8.5.
