Hi:

Well, in my oppinion you still can’t beat using mics          to record an 
acoustic guitar.  If you have the available tracks, you can use two mics in an 
x/y pattern and mix it with the electric pickup signal.  I just did this with 
my Yamaha electric acoustic and it sounds great.  You really will need to play 
around with mic positioning etc.

Hi all,

                Many over here with a quick question. When recording an 
acoustic guitar, is it better to use a microphone or the pickup on it. Does it 
make a difference when recording an acoustic strum compared to lead rifts.
