What is the rewire component?
And where can I download it?

Once reason is installed, you need to go to the prefference, under the edit menu in 2.5, and then go to midi and set all the ports to non, and select in audio your audio sound card. Also, in general, I usually disable the splash
screen thing, turn off animations, and set the startup type to empty rack.
Then once all that is set, shut off reason, go in to sonar, create a
project, go to insert, rewire device, and reason should be there if you
installed the rewire component. Once reason opens, (you might have to alt
tab to get to it) it will be on an empty template; you must go to create,
and make a mixer, then go to create and select the sampler/synth you want to
use, and then use the patch browser (ctrl b) to select an instrument, then
setup the track in sonar to output from channel 3, and bank and patch set to non. If you add another instrument in reason, you have to use channel 4 and
so on. Make sure the main mix output track is created when you insert the
device in to sonar, and if you have sighted assistance and can create mixing
templates, for example machine 1 to outputs 1-2, machine 2 to outputs 3-4
etc, then in sonar you can use separate audio tracks for each
sampler/synth/machine etc. If you need more help/info, shoot away...

Hello, I use reason2.5 as rewire instrument, with no problem, for basic
things such as loading and using the preset or download samples and
instruments...I also have some wiring configurations that I had a friend
create for me...there are some settings you need to adjust, but it does
work...

hello all, just out of keriosity, can the software synth reason be used by

a
blind person at all? I hear that this synthasizer has a lot of power. So I
am wondering if we can use it in conjunction with cakewalk sonar 7? Maybe
as
a rewired insturment? and also can we do the same with fruity loops? If
anyone uses these 2 programs I would appreciate the help.
