When you say cycle the power are you talking about turning it off and then
turning it on again? I think that's what you mean but I'm just making sure.

May the peace of God which passes all understanding gard your heart and
mind in Christ Jesus.

God bless you!

Hey Nevel,

There ya go again! I sneeze... and you say "God bless you!". LOL!

Anyway, have you tried to reset the FW1884 using the (Shift plus control
plus the f8( keys on the 1884? Remember, you have to be in the (monitor
mode), which is using the third button on the very top right of the board
before you invoke the three key cord to reset the board.

Let me know, and it's a good idea to cycle the power after the reset.

Sean

P.S. All's good here for now, and that's saying a lot these days! ;)
