Try quantizing with different values and using different strengths if you
don't want to get the quantize feeling...I always do 16th note quantization
or 32nd, that way the quantizing is close but still hold to what I meant to
play...

Subject: [ddots-l] quantizing phantom

Hi,

I record a drum pattern which fits perfectly with the project I'm in but
when I play it back the beats are off a little almost like they are
quantized. When I say off, I mean slightly off but enough that it is no
good. The natual feel of playing the beats with my midi keyboard controller
seem to come out rigid upon playback.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
Stacy
