Omar,

I suggest that you consult the troubleshooting section in your owner's
manual if you have access to it, and / or call Roland technical support. I
found them very helpful in the past. I am at a loss why re-initializing your
unit did not fully reset it back to its original factory presets if it was
just a simple case of data having accidentally defaulted to weird stuff. In
the meantime perhaps you can try re-initializing your unit again. Be sure to
do a whole unit re-initialization and not a partial one. Follow exactly the
steps instructed in the owner's manual.
What I did in the past in order to get dry sounds with my roland synth
modules was to enable all my outputs-- main and subs and the system would
automatically disable all the effects, including chorus and reverb.

Yes, it is a new problem. The module I have has a sequence template as one
of their performances, and everything in there is dry. It was working fine,
then suddenly, during one of my sessions, the instruments just changed and
got jumbled. I did a factory reset, and that solved the instrument problem,
but now, that performance that is suppose to have no effects now has some
kind of e q or effect on tracks 1-8 and track 10.

Omar,
Is this a new problem or have you always had it? In other words did the
unit work like you wanted it at least once before? I don't have your modal
of Roland but I worked in the past with a few Rolland synth modules in
studio recording / sequencing type of situations where I had to use my
sounds as dry as possible. So after I hear your answer to my question I may
have some pretty good ideas for you. The more you describe the better I
understand what may be going on.

P.S. it's Nicki D; not Nicki and not D but Nicki D together.

Using the main left and right stereo outs.

are you using individual audio outputs? or just a main stereo out.
