You can turn all the tracks down by a certain amount of volume, say 3 or 6 db. Or if you are sending the entire mix to a master bus, reduce the volume of the bus by 3-6 db. Though the term mixdown has the word down in it, it does nothing to your volume levels per say, it merely mixes down, or takes all your tracks and makes a stereo file out of them. You have to adjust the volume before mixdown to get the result you want. I need to get a track to a recording studio. They want a bit of headroom on the track. How do I mix down the track to ensure the necissary headroom? I ask because when I mix down to a stereo track and then import the wave file back in to sonar the peak level is 0.0 please help Kind regardsLen Viljoen Gospel Singer Email1: len@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Email2: g-boy@xxxxxxxxxx Tel: 023 3470022 Mobile: 082 3954286 Fax: 023 3470022 Skype: lenviljoen Windows Live: gospelboy07@xxxxxxxxxxx PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
