Messageomar:
i don't think the problem is your sonar instrument definitions. iyou should
check your midi connections and your midi output configurations in sonar.

I'm not sure I follow you. How do I fix it? The Motif banks and patches are
appearing.

    Omar:
You are probably sending select messages to your motif for banks that were
meant for the Roland. If you try to access a bank that doesn't exist, you
probably won't hear anything.

      Hi Everyone:

I just reinstalled a motif to use it with sonar. I did all the usual
stuff; ins def files, outputs, inputs, etc. I'm not getting any sound however.
When I went to delete the ins def files for my roland xv5080 which I'm not
longer using with sonar, a message came up that said "these instruments are
still being used by one or more ports, do you still want to delete them?" I
clicked on okay, but I'm still getting no sound from the motif.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

      Omar Binno
