    Hi Tommy,

This computer is only showing my virus protection in the system tray.

I'll take a look at the other computer tomorrow.

    Thanks Tommy.

letting me pass the E Drive I believe the memory stick was in fact the I drive.

        I'm using Jaws 9 so can't tandem.
Do appreciate the offer of help.

to bring up the System tray, is that the Jaws key and F11?
then, do I arrow down to find the safely remove?

Be sure to Click Safly Remove hard whare in the system tray. Then
when Wendows says it's safe, then pull it out.

If you need help with this, I'd be glad to help.

Just close all files running on the stick and close out to the
desktop and that should probbly do it, I guess.

              Hi all,

This may be the dumbest question I've asked and I'm fully aware
I've asked a few Dum questions in the passed.

I've been told that before removing a memory stick from the USB,
you must close it down or something like that to protect it.

I'm moving MP3 files from one computer to another and switching
off each computer every time before removing the memory stick.

How do I remove the memory stick without damaging it whilst still
leaving the computers on?

               Steve W
