Efren, Pretty hot? Are you using a laptop? Dave Carlson Sent from my Dell Latitude E6520 using Windows 7, San Francisco Bay Area ----- Original Message ----- From: "Efren Chavez" <efrenchavez91@xxxxxxxxx> To: <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, October 18, 2011 21:05 Subject: [ddots-l] Re: having issues with the latency hearing popping sound in the background I just gave another run on sonar. Had around 10 midi tracks with soft synths from tts1 and did a quick instrumental, and my computer is deffinately doing better. I did what all you guys mentioned and kept messing with the buffer and asio drivers. I think my computer is capable thus far, and as for the chipset: I think I'm clear on that one. I don't have latency, or drop outs anymore, however my computer is getting pretty heated. I guess the real test will be when I begin to mess with effects and multiple plug ins. Thanks for all the help and support, my latency issue is now fixed. On 10/18/11, D!J!X! <megamansuperior@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Ram will help, but if by processing power you mean CPU power, no.
