I never really liked the m-audio cards they have bad pre amps for the
price. As I said go for the biggest card you can afford pro 14 24 or
40 because you never know what you might need in a few months. You can
even later get a second pro 40 and dazy chain 2 of them or you can use
a external pre with ADAT outputs with the pro 40 to go up to 16 pre
amp multitrack recordings.
