MessageYep. That's a good description. I also had that problem with the
duration being a nonsense value that needed to be changed to something normal
before the filter would close properly. Don't know if that means it's a Sonar
problem or a CakeTalking problem. But definitely never as easy to use as with
my good old Cakewalk Pro Audio.

Bill McCann, do you think there is a problem with the scripts, or perhaps the
tutorial?

Dave

I've always felt that the event filter was random.

    Gordon,

I am using both of the most current version, and I have the same problem.

      Hello Richard:
You know, I remember something like this happening a while back. Are you
using the latest version of CT7? I really forget had the problem was resolved,
but you are not crayzy, I can remember this happening to me as well. Also, are
you using the latest build of jaws 9? I think it is build 156.

        Hi Gordon

Let's suppose I want to change a snare for another.

        Alt p than i.

I make sure that the note even is checked then I go to lowest note and
press d3 on my keyboard then highest note d3.

        Press enter.

Instead of taking me to the window where I could replace d3 by e3 for
example, it brings me to longuest duration of the first window.

        That's it.

        regards

OK, do you set the from and through and select the track, then press
alt p to go to the process menu, and then press i to enter the interpolate
dialog? Try to give me a specific example of what you are trying to do.

        Gord

          Hi Gord

          Exactly.

          Richard:

Could you clarify a bit what it is you are trying to do. Are you
trying to use the interpolate dialog to replace notes? That should work fine.

          Gord

            Hi Bill

I selected the track but nothing seems to work anyway.

It's a basic function of sonar even when it was audio pro 9 and I
never had to deal with it before.

            regards

Do you have to select the area first? Sorry, I cannot remember off
the top of my head. But try that if you have not yet done so.

            Regards,
            Bill

            Hi all

I'm not able to replace a events in the event filter window.

            I have sonar 7.02 with caketalking 7.

Can work with jaws 8 and 9.

            What can I do?

            regards
