You have just learned the first rule of hardware and software. Don't assume anything! When it comes to using Sonar and things not working, I doubt you will ever assume anything again. This will make you much better at troubleshooting your system. As Stacy rightly said, the main thing is that you got it working. Good stuff! When I was using the Delta 1010 with my midi sport 2x2, I didn't have to assign midi in ports. it was already there. After I installed my FW I still didn't have any problems. I guess something got messed up when I tried to delete those plugins. I must admit that I'm a little embarrassed that I didn't think to check my midi in put ports. Neville hadn't selected the right MIDI in port. Make sure that scan all plug-ins is checked when you go to the options dialog in the plug-in manager under vst. I had some in active plugins on my system that I tried to remove. I whish I had just left well enough alone, because now dimension pro, Psim2 and maybe some other plugins are not loading. I opened the plug-in manager arrowed to the desired plugin then I tabbed over to the remove button. ever since then I've had this problem. I'm not sure what to do. I really need help. The only plugins that work are the etoral TTS SFZ and Pentigon. I really don't know what happened because the undesired plugins are still listed along with the ones that are not loading.
