Subject: [ddots-l] appropriate sound interface

Hey guys,

I'm new to music production, and i just got sonar. What sound
interface would any of you recommend? (under 400 dollars) I was
thinking a fast track M-audio or maybe a fire wire interface. I was
offered v-studio20, but i researched on it, and didn't find useful
specs on it relating to low latency hardware. I just need to make sure
latency issues are not going to affect my playing ability.
Thanks
