No it was from within the list of effect in the Sonar compressor before inserting it in the track. For example: there is a list of effects in the Sonar effect such as: Default Compression, Soft bass Compression and so on. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Smart" <chris_s@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi guys,
Is there a way to re install a compressor effect in Sonar if you accidentally delete one,

Did you just delete it from the list of VST plug-ins or do you mean you deleted it from a track or bus in a project?

Anyway, if it's the first one, you should be able to just tell Sonar to scan VST folders again. Make sure to check the various options so it doesn't exclude anything.

without re installing the entire program again? or will I have to custom design one to replace it. Robert.
