The SFZ software instrument that comes with Sonar 7 will play Gigga
instruments. I haven't used it for anything more than basic instruments, but it
should work for you. You can't edit, but, if playing existing ones is all you
want to do, you should be fine.

Subject: [ddots-l] accessibility of sample players

Hi list,

I'm thinking about purchasing a sample player, because here is an instrument
I'd love to buy for my collection:
www.bardstownaudio.com
The piano from this company comes in giga format, in both 16 and a 24-bit
version. I own the Ivory, but this newly sampled instrument adds a new
character to the spectrum Ivory can do.

I'm familiar with soft synths and sonar 4. However, I never worked with a
software sample player, because most of this stuff does not seem to be
accessible. Question now is: what would you guys recommend buying, to play
libraries that come in the giga format: either v sampler, giga studio, or is
there something else that you know of, that works accessibly for us?

Interested to hear your opinions or experiences, Paul.
