Hi: rex files are played with the rxp virtual synth, so you don't have any problem changing tempo. with audio just select the audio clip and hit f4 and select clip properties, there you will have all the necessary parameters. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kevin Reeves" <lists@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, May 01, 2008 12:18 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Tempo dialog. Hey folks. I read the following from the cake talking manual, and it sparked a question. Snip Note however, if your project already has audio in it, you can't change the tempo using the Tempo dialog. It only works in purely MIDI projects. End of snip.. How then would you change the tempo in a purely audio session. What if you were using rex loops and such and you wanted to speed them up. Or I was given some wav files from a client and I wanted to set my tempo to match their bpm to make grid mode editing much easier. Is there a way to change tempos in a purely audio project?
