Thanks Phil thanks Tim,

I wasn't aware you could have more than one project open?
Sonar just gets better and better.

Copy and paste? Meaning that you could open both projects then, go to the
MIDI track in one, copy the data from it then, control tab to the other
project and paste on to the other MIDI track.

Why didn't I think of that, "no don't answer Tim."

Thanks Tim, before I go,
The other question, is there away of exporting and importing midi, as I have two projects almost identical so I was thinking I could edit the one project
and just import the edited midi info to the other project.

Steve,

Just set the output of your MIDI track to point to the soft synth you want
to use and you're away. You can then delete the unwanted synth.

Best wishes.

Hi All,

If I want to keep my performance of a piano recorded on a track with
Dimension Pro but wish to change to True pianos for the better piano
sounds,
Am I doing this correctly?
I've been adding True Pianos to my project and then copying the info
across
from dimension pro and finally deleting dimension pro. , is that the
easiest
way?

Also is there a way of exporting just midi data so you may import it into
another project?
