Hi David, Sounds like the kind of question to put directly to Cakewalk's support team. Best wishes. I am using Sonar with jfw6.2 with CT4.3. I am composing music which uses 8.1 surround sound, I would like to use 8.2 but Sonar 4 doesn't have a template for that. I am having difficulty exporting and importing wave files in the surround sound medium. The problem lies in preserving the spatial gestures or pan data when exporting the file. I have read the help files and I am not able to import a file which contains the pan gestures that I recorded before exporting it. If anyone has any ideas at all as to what I might be doing wrong, can they get back to me. I realise this is an unusual request, but some one may have an idea. I want to have a situation where I can export a file which contains the pan automations and then import it to a new project, just as one would import a stereo file. It is possible that one can not achieve this and that you must set up a number of dedicated tracks with the relevant outputs, but I hope it won't be so complicated. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
