I only want something to record speach in mono on a mac, this must be wav
files as it would be edited in other software. I don't plan to move away
from sonar, i'm still usin it, this is just to record on at the church i
work for, they only use apple macs.

I wouldn't recommend this if you need to do any MIDI editing as well, you
can't yet.

With the advances of ProTools Accessibility - although not completely there
yet, I recommend ProTools 9 on a MAC with out a doubt if you want to use a
Mac specifically.

There is a group of blind users under Google Mail - sorry don't remember the
exact name of the group.  Bryan Smart also has quite a bit of info.
