When you load a project in "safe mode", you have the option to choose which
plug-ins to load. Sometimes plug-ins can cause Sonar to crash, so loading
up in safe mode is a good option.

  Question,

If I load a project in safe mode will I lose any previously saved data?
What happens to a project when loaded in safe mode?

May the peace of God which passes all understanding gard your heart and

That synth is causing an issue; Open he project in safe mode by holding
down shift as it loads (i think), see if that fixes/helps the problem; it
won't load any sof synths, but you can then unload the cyclone and then see
if it does it again...

  Subject: [ddots-l] Sonar crashing

  Hi folks,

I got repeated crashing of Sonar 8.52 with CT8.40.

  The message is as follows:

A fatal error has occurred. Module: c:\program files\cakewalk\Shared
DXi\Groove player\GroovePlayer.dll a crash dump file has been created. As a
result of this error, Sonar is about to exit abnormally. Should Sonar
attempt to save a recovery copy of your work? Yes or no. End of the message.

What does it mean? and what is the solution?

  Thank you,

  Berhane Kidane
