DRM = Digital Rights management.
wikipedia has a nice long article on it for the curious.

It is a term used for copyright guarding and protection for digital media, or anything that relates to that, copy prevention, quantity controll, transfers and reproduction etc.

O... it sounded like you were physically unplugging... I guess windows's drm still detects the monitor removal. Did you try my other suggestions?

No no, I don't switch the cable, it happens when I press the A-switch, to switch to the monitor on my other machine.

Then I don't get it, why switch the monitor cable?

I have my Monitor, Keyboard and mouse plugged into a KVM Switchbox. And yes, the two machines are next to each other.

Hey are the 2 machines in the same room/next to each other? If so, consider a KVM switch box or a splitter box just for the monitor. Or, if your monitor has multiple inputs, switch that way. Unplugging and plugging the monitor can cause issues, with windows 7's drm, screen resolution and automatic switching, and eventually wire/pin waring problems if using VGA or DVI ports.

I don't know why, but when I press record, then when I press stop after recording, JAWS won't speak to me. Right now, I have both JAWS and my main Windows Audio, as well as the music I make, coming out the MOTU. I want to have JAWS and the Windows audio come out of the Realtech HD Audio Sound Card, but when I do that, I don't hear anything when I plug the headphones into the jack on top of my computer's tower. Also, if I happen to switch the monitor over to my other machine while recording or playing, the audio engine turns completely off. Is there a way to fix it so that the Audio Engine isn't affected when I switch the monitor between my music machine and my documents machine? I've tried looking at the power options in Windows 7, but that didn't do anything. Please help!
