I like what I here so far. So tell me has the problem with sonar crashing
gone away or greatly reduced since your purchase? How small of a resolution
does it allow you to scrub? Can you scrub down to ticks like the transport?

controls are easy for a blind person to learn.
The only thing that is touch sensitive is the moterized fader, which is an
actual fader like on the mackie units, and the scrubb strip.
The unit is about the same size as the tranzport, and is a little lighter of

course because there are no batteries in it.

Sorry I should have been a little more specific with this message. I was
directing this question to the person who told me about the Alfa track.
Thanks

Is it about the same size as the transport? Is sonar more stable now that
you're using it? I was checking it out and I keep hearing touch sensitive.
Are the controls easy for a blind person to find and learn?

I just got myself the alpha track, and the nice thing about this unit is
that you basicly put your finger on a touch sensative strip, and glide your
finger to the right to scrubb forward, and to the left to scrubb to the
left.
Once more, if you use two fingers, you actually scrubb in smaller
incraments, and if you use three, even smaller, and so on. I havn't used
four finger scrubbing on the strip, but I gues there's a first time for
everything.
Oh yeah one more thing the alpha track has a moterized fater, and what's
nice is that when you arrow down, in Sonar, or use the hot numbers to go
from one track to another, the Alpha track will actually adjust the volume
moterized fader, and sinc when you move to different tracks in your project.
There are three incoders,
1. for changing between aux sends, the second to adjust the level of effect,

and the third incoder to adjust the pan.
Of course these incoders can be programmed.

The Tranzport is excellent and if you lock your Jaws mouse, and you have a
wireless mouse then, you can move that. That's an excellent option too.

Hi folks.

Before I try scrubbing with the TranzPort's wheel control, is this more
convenient than using the CT scrubbing hotkeys?

The wheel on the Tranzport clicks when moved. Is one click equivalent to
using the Num+1 and Num+3 scrubbing hotkeys?

For those using other methods besides the hotkeys or the TranzPort, what are
you using to scrub, and why do you prefer it over other methods?

I'm looking for the quickest way to home in on fine detail, for sergical
editing. Really, I'd like to get as close as possible to what the sighted
user can do by just moving the mouse left and right.

Chris
