Kevin,

It doesn't. It only gives us the total number of pages.
Sometime I mess around with the staff size and spacings,
until I see that I have 3 pages, then back off a bit to get
back to 2 pages. Like I said, a bit of trial-and-error.

Sorry if I mis-represented the information in the file/info
dialogs.

Dave

Dave,
The one thing I don't get is how this tells you where the
page
breaks happen. Am I missing something, or do you just
divide in half,
or something?

Chris,

I'd also like a way to see how many pages there are and
where the page
breaks occur.

There is a way to find out some of this information,
already.

Alt-F, then I for Info. This brings up the dialog where you
can add
title,
comments. to the file. Just Shift-Tab to get to the page
tabs, and move
to
the next page

This page needs to be navigated with the JAWS cursor, so
turn off Num
Lock
or use the Ctrl-JJ to activate. It will give you the
number of staves
and
the number of pages. I use this a lot when I'm trying to
squeeze some
music
down to just two pages, for example. Lots of
trial-and-error, so
henceforth
my wishlist item of knowing where the page breaks occur.

As for the time and key signatures, I'm sure you already
know how to use
the
triple-F5 key to get that.

Dave
