News of Latest Release
 
Cakewalk fixed some bugs with the AudioSnap feature in their SONAR 8.5.3
update.  This newest version of CakeTalking for SONAR gives you access to
those fixes and all of the power of AudioSnap.  Of course, the CakeTalking
tutorial helps you understand all about AudioSnap and how to use it to
polish up your audio.  Check out Lesson 51. 

CakeTalking works much better now with the Studio Edition of SONAR 8.5.

You'll also get improved access to SONAR's V Vocal utility that lets you
touch up the pitch on vocal and instrumental performances.

Other improved features:
* Nudging audio
*Access to SONAR's Inspector pane
* Press F5 4 times to move to any hour-minute-second-frame in your project.
* Displaying Meter levels with Control Shift F2 is faster and more reliable.


CakeTalking users can still access the Matrix feature of SONAR 8.5.  Matrix
allows you to assign various loops to a particular key on your MIDI
controller.  Then you can use those loops to easily build your project.  The
CakeTalking tutorial has an entire lesson to help you get started.

This release also contains some corrections and other additions to the
tutorial and a number of useful bug fixes.

DETAILS AND UPDATE PROCEDURES

The update to CakeTalking for SONAR 8.5.3 is CakeTalking 8.5.68.  You must
first download and install the SONAR 8.5.3 update patch before you can
install CakeTalking for SONAR 8.5.68.

Customers who already have CakeTalking for SONAR 8.5 installed should do the
following to update to latest CakeTalking:

Close all programs.

Start Menu | Programs | CakeTalking for SONAR 8.5 | CTWebUpdate

Follow the prompts to down load latest CakeTalking.
