If nobody has figured out your problem, in reading your post, it sounds as if your second microphone that is plugged into the second XLR slot needs to be set to Right Analog 1, not left Analog 3. Left Analog 3 is for channel 3 on the FW 1884. I hope this helps. You'll only be able to monitor one track's input level/peak meter reading at a time. So, you'll have to arm each track separately and take an input level reading, then switch to the other... Of course, you'll be able to record the 2 trax simultaneously! I think this could be the prob? No prob with this one, I can both hear the audio and can monitor the peak levels. The second audio track is vocal mic 2, Input set to left acio fw-1884analog3, the cable from the mic is plugged in to the next slr slot. I can hear the audio from the mic but the peak meters are not changing, I go in to record and get nothing. BTW, on both tracks the output is set to master. What am I doing?
