Hey guys!
The thing to do is create and save your own template which will load up
each time you start Sonar.
To do this:
1). Either open Sonar, or open a template of your liking.
2). Set up the metronome just the way you like it.
3). Now save the project as follows:
Project title should be written exactly like this:
Normal.tpl
Now, save this to the "Sample Content" folder in Cakewalk.
Next, do the same thing again, but give the project the following title:
Normal.cwt
Finally, also save this template to the "Sample Content" folder.

PS: If you work in a particular way, you can give all the trax names,
corresponding to the instruments you use.
Also, you can set-up any plug-ins you like?
As I record a lot of guitar, I always have a particular PSP
pre-amp/compressor plug-in, saved to my renamed guitar trax, which always
load up when I open Sonar. It just makes things a bit quicker and
simpler!

Hi all, weird thing that I thought maybe somebody could help me with. I
have Sonar set up to load the normal template. In the project options,
I have the metronome set to audio, and it's set for recording, but not
playback. However, if I record, I hear no metronome. But if I do
ctrl-k to turn it on, and then ctrl-k three times quickly to set it to
audio, then I hear it when I record. I thought with the settings I have
in the project dialogue, I should just hear it automatically? That's
what I'd like to have happen.
