Use the select by filter dialog (shift f3). There are a number of presets
in there, and one of them may be controllers only, but I'm not sure. Before
entering this dialog, select the whole track (alt enter). If there is no
suitable preset, you'll need to tab through the dialog and make sure that
only controllers is checked, then set the number of the controller you want
to delete. When you press enter, pressing delete will delete those
controllers.

Subject: [ddots-l] Question about deleting controlers
Hello:
I am using standard MIDI files with Sonar and have a
question. Some of these midi files I download have
controllers inserted in some of the tracks. If I want
to delete a specific controller out of a track, how do
I delete all of them from the track instead of trying
to find each one separately. For example, one of the
controllers is a patch controller, and the bank select
method is normal. Let's say there are three of these
controllers throughout the track. Rather than tgoing
through the entire track to find these controllers,
how can I just delete all of them simultaneously?
Thanks in advance for all help.

We have come from God, and inevitably the myths woven by us, though they
contain error, will also reflect a splintered fragment of the true light,
the eternal truth that is with God. Indeed only by myth-making, only by
becoming a "sub-creator" and inventing stories, can Man aspire to the state
of perfection that he knew before the Fall. Our myths may be misguided, but
they steer however shakily towards the true harbor, while materialistic
"progress" leads only to a yawning abyss and the Iron Crown of the power of
evil. - J. R. R. Tolkien - Author of The Lord Of The Rings
