That's an interesting configuration. So you have a buss for your vocals even
if its just one vocal?
Strangely enough, the message said that buss parameters were going to be
modified as well.
I usually insert affects on my tracks, but I use busses for reverbs.

Hi Neville,
You are right, you do press R twice to create a snap shot.
I'm guessing you have effects on the effects column, maybe the system is
taking snap shots of not only the changes you made but all the effects
parameters.
Try just putting a snap shot on a track with no effects added and see if
Jaws just says, "Taking a snap shot of the..."
I personally have all effects assigned to the vocal bus so the vocal track
remains clean for such situations as the snap shot.
