Are you using ASIO or WDM drivers?

You can find out in options/audio...

Okay! I went into the options menu, went to the audio page, but for some
reason I couldn't get the buffer to go past 64. I'm guessing that has
something to do with how the factory settings were set. I don't know. Also, I
turned all the meters on then hit control F 2 to turn just the peak meters on
and still got the same result. the buffer

      Hey Geezer!

Why is the glass half empty?

At the very lease you know that your feedback, and it was feedback, issue
has been resolved...

It sounds like you're having latency issues...

Go in to options, audio, and check your buffer size.

If, for instance, its set to 64, or 128, try changing it to 256, or 512?

Each time you change it, and it must be done in multiples of the previous
figure, check your playback and see if the situation has improved?

Also, press ctrl plus F2, run the project, then press ctrl plus F2 twice
quickly, this'll disable the meters and improve the JAWS performance as well as
your projects...

Okay! I turned the input gain down (maybe too much now. I got back
into Sonar and turned the speakers on, and thankfully, this time there was no
feedback. However, the microphone was on. The other problem is that I can't
get my project to play. In fact, this time when I tried to get my project to
play, jaws said, "Drop out drop out." Again, as I mentioned in my first e-mail
today, I was not able to read the status bar to try to figure out what was
going on.  Again, I appologize for my frustration earlier; it's nobody's fault;
it's just that since I've had the Sonar and Caketalking programs I've had more
problems and setbacks than accomplishments, and knowing that some one asked a
question I was not sure how to answer just added to the frustration. Anyway,
thanks, you guies for trying to help.
