I'm sorry to say you are sadly mistaken. Firstly, there is nothing
off-topic about this subject. secondly, what is or what isn't
off-topic is chiefly a subjective perspective, principally based on
one's own requirements from such a list as this. Thirdly, this list
certainly was not set up to discuss TC, whatever that may be. If
anyone is to blame for this subject being off-topic, it is you and I.

Climing off my high horse and getting back on-topic, I too would like
to se such a scratch plugin. It could quite a useful feature. I would
also like a way to control the speed of playback so that I could get a
kind of scrubbing effect using a control surface. In other words, this
would allow me to emulate a turntable. I will cover such a queery in a
separate e-mail perhaps but I would like to ask DJX if there is a way
to make the sensitivity and value of the pitch bend midi control
increase using sFZ. What I mean is, my midi keyboard lets me change
the amount the pitch will change when I use the pitch bend, however
SfZ refuses to change this amount. Is there a way I can get SfZ to
recognize such controlers as pitch bend or RPN as it might be known
and LFO parameters. This means I would be able to import a wave file
in to SFZ and emulate this turntable style using the pitch bend. At
the moment it only effects the audio by a small amount.

Hope this makes sense.

Dave
